Now I have a little "quicky article," for in between, because I know that some long hard wait for Picasa fürn Mac.
After a long wait was finally released Picasa for the Mac. As the official Google Blog reports a free beta version is available that runs under Mac OS 10.4 or later.

Picasa is indeed more extensive than iPhoto, but I prefer iPhoto now, not least because the work is not multi-touch trackpad control in picasa. furthermore, the slideshow presentation in iphoto highlighted with pretty cool music - really makes fun photos with friends to look at the art.
the new features they can also see: http://www.apple.com/ilife/iphoto/ just not available in the free version ...
